Finally! After weeks of checking on the status of our building permit online, we learn that the City finally approved the plans for our house this week. We're glad one of the biggest hurdles has passed.
Hopefully this means the builder can begin meeting with us and let us know the start date. If it takes the standard 5-6 months to build, we'll be lucky if we can move in by the end of the year.
They started on the model and a house with our Pemberton floor plan last month and both have already been framed. It will be exciting to see the neighborhood take shape!
