It's been a while since I posted an update on the house. We got the trees trimmed in the front. It looks so much better now. The trees had a lot of vines and small broken branches, and some branches were really close to the roof. There was also a stray, skinny hackberry tree that was growing in the middle of the trees.

The people at Austin Tree Specialists got rid of all that. We wanted to save the big branch that runs across the front of Josh's window because it's just so pretty, so they attached a cable line to the branch, which will keep it from falling on the house if the branch ever breaks.
