Fall activities

Before Halloween, we visited Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls, a town about 45 minutes from Austin. We usually go there twice a year - one in the spring to pick strawberries, and in the fall before Halloween. It's a great family-friendly place with hay rides, pumpkin painting, corn mazes, etc.

Josh, Kiki and Jacob at the pick-a-pumpkin-to-paint patch. The weather was great and since we came on a weekday (Josh had a student holiday), we didn't have to deal with the large weekend crowd.

Jacob feeding the goats on the farm. He was fascinated by the goats and wasn't afraid of them.

Josh with neighborhood friends on the hay ride. We went with 5 other families from the neighborhood. The kids had a lot more fun with their friends along. We all brought food and ate lunch on the farm's picnic tables.

Kiki and Jakey painting their pumpkins. They both love to craft so they spent a lot of time painting their pumpkins. Jacob decided he liked to paint the picnic tables instead.
