Kiki's soccer season

Kiki started playing soccer this fall after years of watching Josh from the sidelines. She's so enthusiastic about the game and wants to play well. She had a great season. Her teammates consist of her next door neighbor, a good friend and a classmate from school. This made soccer easier and more fun for her.

Here are some highlights of the season:

Kiki with our next door neighbor who is also on the team. The girls look so cute in their uniforms.

This is Kiki dribbling toward the goal. She spent all summer practicing her dribbling skills and it paid off on the soccer field.

This is a shot after one of her goals. She gets so excited when she makes a goal. Before every game, she says she'll make 3 goals. She's come close to her prediction a few times. It's been a great season for her.

As for Josh, his soccer career is coming to a close. After 3 years of coaching and playing soccer, Duc and Josh have decided to re-direct their focus on another sport. Josh and 3 other teammates have been on the same team since the beginning so it will be hard to say goodbye to a great team.

Duc has been taking Josh and Kiki to the tennis courts so Josh might focus on that in the spring. Duc grew up playing tennis and the kids have enjoyed their practices. There are some tennis courts nearby and they are getting better with their strokes. Before we know it, there will be 3 kids in sports and our lives will become even more busy.
