Model house

We've visited the Pemberton model house in Leander several times in the past month. We took hundreds of pictures so we have an idea of what our house will look like. Of course, the model house is upgraded beyond belief so our humble home will not be as decked out in custom touches.

This is the front of the house. Our house will have red brick and lighter limestone and a 2-car garage. We also have a front porch.

This is the view from the back. We get a covered porch.

Here's a view of the kitchen. There's a large island so the kids can sit and eat or do their homework while I cook. Our cabinets and granite color are almost similar to what you see.


Another part of the kitchen. We're getting the french door refrigerator too!


A view of the family room. We'll have a regular cast stone fireplace and the homebuilders are giving us a plasma TV to hang on the wall. The other 2 walls in the family room have windows so we'll get in lots of light.

This is the Master Bedroom. It has bay windows.
