Garden

I got a slow start on my garden this year. I got a compost bin a couple of months ago and am making good progress on it. Duc's mom gave me a tomato plant, some Thai basil and mints to start. I got more herbs and Joshua picked out a watermelon plant when we went shopping one day. The watermelon plant has taken up more than half of the garden bed so there's only a little room left for extra plants.

Everything is looking good so far, and the watermelon has a few tiny fruits. Josh and Kiki are very excited at the possibility of making pizza sauce out of our tomatoes and eating home grown watermelons. I hope their enthusiasm grows as our garden grows.
